Boys Varsity Volleyball · Boys Volleyball Historic Season Comes To An End In CIF Playoffs

Santana boys Volleyball falls to #5 Bishops Tuesday night in CIF playoffs (25-20, 25-17, 25-22). The Sultans historic season ended earlier this week with a loss to top-ranked D2 opponent, Bishop’s. Congratulations to the boys volleyball team for setting a new school record winning 21 games this year, most wins in a season in program history. The 2019 Sultans also set new single-season records in several major categories for most kills (1052), most blocks (246), most assists (949), & most digs (1644). In addition, several seniors for this year’s team also will be listed as some of Santana’s all-time best:
Brandon Simmons, OH – most kills in a season (321) & most career kills (603)
Austin Hanson, S – most assists in a season (893)
Tanner Barrett, L – most digs in a season (455)
Dylan Carr, OPP – most career digs (661)
