Dear GUHSD Families & Staff,
All schools in the Grossmont Union High School District will be closed beginning next Monday, March 16, and remain closed through April 10, 2020 due to Coronavirus. This includes all school-related activities and sports.
This closure includes our two-week spring recess. Classes are expected to resume on April 13, 2020, as conditions allow.
This unprecedented action is being taken in concert with San Diego County school districts and local health authorities.
To date, there are no confirmed staff or student cases of COVID-19 in Grossmont Union High School District schools. Our top priority is the health and safety of our students, staff, families and community members, and this preventative action is being taken to decrease the potential spread of COVID-19.
We know this is a time of uncertainty and concern for our students, staff and families. We are analyzing options related to distance learning during the closure. Additional information related to food services and serving locations for students during this closure will be provided.
Please monitor www.guhsd.net for updates.
