Former Girls Soccer Player Off To A Great Start In College

Former Santana Girls Soccer Standout Alyssia Anuat Class of 2018 is off to a great start in her freshman year of college playing soccer for Abilene Christian University in Texas.  Playing D1 soccer at the college level was always a dream of Alyssia and we are very proud of our former Sultan.      

Save A Life Foundation Free Screening District Wide

Valhalla High School is hosting a free youth heart screening provided by the Eric Paredes (PRONOUNCED: pah-RED-ez) Save A Life Foundation on Sunday, November 4 from 9 am to 3 pm. Heart screenings are not a regular part of youth exams, even though it’s estimated that 1 in 300 youth have an undetected heart condition that puts them at risk

Girls Golfer Earns First Team All League Honors

Congratulations to Ashlee Welch on her amazing golf season.  Ashlee medalled having the best score in three matches this season.  She had a top 5 league final finish earning her 1st Team All League Honors.  Wish Ashlee luck as she advances in the Grossmont Valley match play tournament.  -Coach Jason Kay

Girls Tennis Ends Regular Season with Big Win Ranked for CIF

Girls Volleyball wins big on Senior Night

Girls Volleyball is off to an amazing start to this years season beating El Cajon Valley yesterday 3-0 on Senior Night.  The girls volleyball team has an overall record of 15-7 and currently   5-1 in league play.  CIF power rankings have the girls ranked 5th in division 4.  Keep it up Sultans!        

Santana Hires New Girls Basketball Coach

Santana back on September 27th hired a new girls basketball head coach Jordan Franey.  Franey is a former player of HOF Santana coach Wade Vickery and she helped lead the lady Sultans to the CIF Championship in 06.  After Santana, Franey went to UCSB on a basketball scholarship playing all four years at the D1

Athletes of the Month

Congrats to Colton Snipes (Football) and Taylor Stout (Field Hockey) as being selected the male and female athletes of the month.  Both Colton and Taylor were chosen by their peers at the Fall Sports Captains meeting last month.    .                               

Field Hockey Plays Tough Loses in Shootouts

Field Hockey played hard scoring first a few minutes into the match vs. El Capitan last Wednesday.  El Capitan later would tie the game 1-1 as the league game went into overtime.  Still tied after overtime El Capitan would beat the Sultans in shootouts 3-2.  Overall the Sultans are off to a great start this
