Cross Country Club Summer Workouts

Boys and Girls Cross Country Club will be starting summer workouts starting Monday July 6th – July 23rd Monday -Friday 8am – 10am. Chick-Fil-A Male and Female Athlete of the Month

November’s Chick-fil-A athletes of the month go to Nathan Temple (12th) and Mikayla Horning (9th).  Both athletes received gift cards to Chick-fil-A Santee and a T-shirt from Santana Athletics. Nathan a senior and quarterback of the football team lead the Sultans all season helping the football team to tie it’s best record in school history

Cross Country CIF Finals Results

Freshman Sultan, Mikayla Horning, placed 5th in the Div. 3 CIF cross country meet and earned a spot at the State meet next Saturday in Fresno. The girls team finished 8th overall.  Mikayla’s time put her in top 5 in her division and All CIF as only a 9th grader! The boys team finished 5th

Boys Cross Country League Champs! Girls Place Second Overall

Boys Cross Country: Congrats to the Santana Boys Cross Country Team for finishing 1st at the League Finals meet and securing the Grossmont Valley League Championship! Six Sultans were in the top ten: Jack McMackin (2nd), Connor Cheary (4th), Jayson Oliver (5th), Mateo Graham (6th), Jayson Oliver (5th), James Stuermer (8th), and Cameron Bressler (10th).

Sultans Defeat Helix and Remain 1st In League

Sultans Defeat Helix and remain 1st in league. Congrats to the boys team for defeating Helix! They are now 4-0 going into league finals on Nov. 16. The girls lost to Helix and are 3-1, but had a strong performance by freshman Mikayla Horning who won the race and remains undefeated in league.

The Santana Cross Country team had an excellent showing at the Mt. Sac Invitational on Friday.
