JV Football traveled down to play Chula Vista High School Thursday afternoon and won their first game of the season 27-6. The Freshman Football team played their home opener vs. Mountain Empire High School and came up with a shutout victory 23-0. The Santana Varsity team will be traveling to play their season opener at
Santana’s Varsity and JV football teams scrimmaged Crawford high school last Friday night and looked really good for this early in the season. Former NFL star Gary Plummer visited the Santana Football program on Monday. Plummer played for the San Diego Chargers from 1985-1993 and finished his career with the San Fransisco 49ers 1994-1997 winning Super Bowl XXIX.
